Hey you wonderous one!
Whether
you are an old friend or have never met these people – you are warmly
welcome to take part in these communal General Gatherings of communal art,
limitlessness and playing. We arrange them almost every Saturday in Pispala, depending on
the situation.
In these
meetings we discuss matters concerning communal art processes, search
for new ideas for projects and organize those that are already on the
practical level. We also play, warm up, get to know each other, drink
tea and wine, improvise music and flow with whatever happens to happen.
You never know when playing around gets totally out of hand!

The time for our exhibition has been settled at the beginning of summer, from 26th of May to the 17th of June 2012
Hirvitalo – The Center of Contemporary Art Pispala will be providing the galleryspace for An Investigation of playfulness and limitlessness. Yet, as planned, the exhibition will branch out from the indoors out into the yard and beyond, to the center of Tampere and worldwide, linking cities globally. The theme is limitlessness, right?
So, what boundaries are there to be crossed? We move over mental, infrastructural and cultural borders, both common and unreal, towards genuine borders, where-ever they might be. Frontiers and boundaries might be fine as they are, but the least we can make out of the situation is to find out where they are!
An important part of the exhibition will be various participatory events and playful realitytheater- happenings. Perhaps our Realityguides can present the whole beauty of life and explain why this plant or stone is exactly here and not there? Our aim is for the gallery space to be a vibrant center of life throughout the exhibition.
